The K&N 50-2629 is a NextGen Series 50 cold air intake system engineered specifically for the 2024 Ford Ranger equipped with the 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This dyno-proven system delivers gains of 15.7 horsepower and 21.47 lb-ft of torque with a 35.87% increase in airflow volume over the restrictive factory air intake -- all with no tune required. The HDPE rotationally molded intake tube provides a smooth, large-diameter airflow path from the semi-enclosed NextGen air box to the throttle body, reducing turbulence and maximizing the volume of cooler, denser air reaching the engine for improved throttle response and power delivery across the entire RPM range.

The system is paired with a K&N washable, reusable High-Flow Lifetime oiled cotton air filter in an oversized conical design that provides exceptional filtration while flowing significantly more air than a disposable paper element. Under normal highway driving conditions, the filter can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings, and when it does need service, it simply washes and re-oils rather than being replaced -- saving money and reducing waste over the life of the vehicle.
