• The VA-generation WRX STI was discontinued after the 2021 model year - this filter does not apply to the 2022+ VB-generation WRX, which dropped the STI variant
• All Subaru WRX STI models are AWD only (Subaru Symmetrical AWD)

Product Description

The K&N 33-5092 is a direct-fit high-flow replacement air filter engineered specifically for the 2019-2021 Subaru WRX STI equipped with the EJ257 2.5L turbocharged flat-four engine. It replaces the factory paper element with a layered oiled cotton gauze design that flows significantly more air into the intake system, supporting improved throttle response and engine efficiency across all WRX STI trim levels including the Base, Limited, Series.White, Series.Gray, and limited-run S209.

Installation is a straightforward drop-in swap into the existing factory airbox with no cutting, drilling, or adapters required. Unlike disposable filters, the 33-5092 is fully washable and reusable using K&N's Recharger cleaning kit, backed by K&N's 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty.
