Fitment Notes

• Two (2) filters are required per vehicle - the M176/M177 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine uses a dual-airbox setup with one filter per bank.
• Engine codes: M176 (G500/G550), M177 (C63 AMG, GLC63 AMG, S63 AMG).
• G550 fitment confirmed through 2023 (W463A facelift); verify airbox configuration on post-2023 models.
• S63 AMG fitment confirmed for 2017 model year only - 2018+ S63 AMG uses a different filter configuration (see K&N 33-3140).
• Does not fit C63 AMG Black Series (M178 engine) or any non-V8 C-Class/GLC-Class variants.

Product Description

The K&N 33-3072 is a washable, reusable high-flow drop-in replacement air filter designed for Mercedes-Benz models equipped with the M176 and M177 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine - covering the C63 AMG, C63 AMG S (W205), G500, G550, G550 4x4² (W463/W463A), GLC63 AMG, GLC63 AMG S (X253/C253), and the 2017 S63 AMG (W222). Because the M176/M177 V8 uses a dual-airbox layout, two filters are required per vehicle - one per cylinder bank. Each installs directly into the factory airbox with no modifications required.
