Product Description

The K&N 63-1580 is a 63 Series AirCharger cold air intake system for the 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL equipped with the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This enclosed airbox intake replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake tube with a high-flow system designed to increase airflow volume and reduce intake restriction. The sealed airbox isolates the oversized conical air filter from engine bay heat, drawing cooler, denser air into the turbo inlet for improved combustion efficiency. The HDPE rotationally-molded intake tube provides a smooth, high-volume airflow path, and K&N dyno testing shows estimated gains of 12.54 horsepower at 4993 RPM and 7.2 ft-lbs of torque. The included K&N oiled cotton gauze filter is washable and reusable with a service interval of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions, and can be replaced individually with K&N part number RU-2815. The airbox lid provides tool-free access for quick filter inspection and cleaning. Installation is direct-fit with no cutting or drilling required, using basic hand tools in approximately 60 to 90 minutes. This intake is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California or states adopting CARB emission standards. K&N states this intake will not void the factory vehicle warranty and backs it with a 10-year / 1,000,000 mile limited warranty. For 3.6L V6 Wrangler JL models, use K&N 63-1576.
