The K&N 69-3532TTK Typhoon Cold Air Intake System delivers dyno-proven gains of 10.21 horsepower and 9.8 lb-ft of torque for 2004-2011 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis models equipped with the 4.6L V8 engine. This free-flowing intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube that dramatically reduces airflow restriction while smoothing and straightening airflow into the engine. The included custom heat shield installs into the previous air box space, protecting incoming air from engine bay heat for maximum performance. The oversized K&N high-flow air filter features oiled cotton gauze media that provides excellent filtration while allowing increased airflow. The washable and reusable filter can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions.
