Product Description

The K&N 77-1561KP 77 Series Cold Air Intake is engineered to replace your stock air intake assembly on Ram trucks equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine. This system uses a mandrel-bent, polished aluminum tube to reduce airflow restriction, paired with a high-flow oiled cotton gauze filter that can be cleaned and reused. A heat shield is included to isolate the intake from under-hood heat, promoting cooler air intake and improved efficiency.

In testing, this intake shows an approximate gain of 10.3 horsepower at around 4382 RPM and modest torque improvements, enhancing throttle response and engine induction sound without requiring ECU tuning. Installation uses existing factory mounting points and is generally completed in under 90 minutes. While it's a straightforward upgrade for many 2009-2023 Ram 1500 and 2013-2018 Ram 2500/3500 models, keep in mind certain years (2015-2019 full range, 2013-2014 3500) are not legal for sale or use in California and states following its emissions rules.
