Product Description

The K&N 69-1211TTK is a 69 Series Typhoon cold air intake system designed, tuned, and dyno-tested for the 2008-2012 Honda Accord Coupe and Sedan with the 2.4L L4 engine. The factory Accord intake routes air through a restrictive, tightly bent plastic assembly that limits airflow volume and raises intake charge temperatures. The K&N Typhoon system replaces this with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube featuring a textured black powder coat finish that smooths and straightens airflow to the throttle body, reducing restriction and increasing the volume of cool, oxygen-rich air reaching the engine. A heat shield installs in the factory airbox location to further protect the intake charge from engine bay heat.

The oversized conical K&N High-Flow oiled cotton gauze filter provides exceptional filtration with superior airflow and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway conditions. The intake tube includes fittings for the factory mass air sensor and crankcase vent hose, requiring no tune and maintaining factory emission controls.
