Product Description

The K&N 57-9027 is a 57 Series FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) air intake system engineered specifically for the 2005-2006 Toyota Tundra and Toyota Sequoia equipped with the 4.7L V8 2UZ-FE engine. The FIPK design replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake tubing while retaining the factory air box -- installing K&N's oversized custom-shaped high-flow cotton gauze filter inside the OE airbox and routing air through an aerodynamically engineered rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene intake tube into the throttle body. The result is a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque across the entire RPM range, improved throttle response, a noticeably more aggressive engine sound under load, and the long-haul reliability the 2UZ-FE platform is known for.

The custom intake tube is precision-molded to accommodate the factory mass air sensor, fuel pressure regulator vent line, and crank case vent hose -- preserving full OE function and emissions compliance. K&N's red oiled cotton gauze filter is built for the long haul, with a 100,000-mile service interval before cleaning is required (depending on driving conditions), and is fully washable and reusable for the life of the vehicle.
