Product Description

The K&N 57-1533 Cold Air Intake System is designed for 2003-2008 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine. It replaces the factory air intake assembly to improve airflow and increase horsepower and torque. K&N's dyno testing shows gains of over 10 horsepower at high RPMs.

The system features a rotationally-molded HDPE intake tube and an oversized oiled cotton gauze High-Flow Air Filter™ that enhances both air volume and filtration efficiency. The filter is washable and reusable, lasting up to 100,000 miles before cleaning under normal highway conditions. A custom heat shield protects the filter from engine bay heat, delivering cooler, denser air to the engine for stronger performance.

Installation is simple and requires only basic tools, taking around 60 minutes using factory mounting points. The 57-1533 is CARB certified for street use in all 50 states and is backed by K&N's No-Hassle Lifetime Limited Warranty™. Fitment is verified through 2008; coverage for 2009-2025 remains unconfirmed at this time.
