This filter is specifically designed for GM trucks and SUVs equipped with the higher-displacement V8 engines (6.0L, 6.2L, 6.6L Duramax, 8.1L) that use the larger panel airbox; it is NOT a substitute for the K&N 33-2129 used in 4.8L / 5.3L applications
Duramax 6.6L diesel fitment covers the LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML, and L5P engine codes across applicable model years - confirm panel filter airbox before ordering
Silverado/Sierra Classic models are 2007 carryover GMT800 units - fitment confirmed
Tahoe and Yukon fitment is for models equipped with the 6.0L or 6.2L engine only; the more common 5.3L variants use a different filter
