Product Description

The JKS JKS9604 Rear Upper Bar Pin Eliminator is a precision-machined shock mount upgrade for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, 2004-2006 Wrangler Unlimited LJ, and 1984-2001 Cherokee XJ. The factory bar pin-style rear upper shock mount provides no lateral support for the shock bushing, allowing movement that causes noise, premature bushing wear, and degraded shock performance. The JKS9604 replaces this weak design with a heavy-duty cross pin and mount block system that properly cradles the bushing with the correct amount of lateral preload - eliminating NVH, reducing bushing friction, and unlocking nearly ½" of additional rear shock down travel in the process.

The conversion to a standard EB1 eyelet-style mount opens up a much wider selection of OEM and aftermarket shock absorbers for your build. All components are precision-machined from premium grade steel and zinc-plated for long-term corrosion resistance.
