Product Description

The JBA 2831SY mid-pipe is a high-flow stainless steel upgrade built specifically for 1988-1993 Chevrolet and GMC C/K-series trucks equipped with the 5.7 L V8 engine. Featuring mandrel-bent 2.50" tubing, heavy-duty flanges, factory-style hangers and O2 sensor bungs, this mid-pipe opens up exhaust flow, improving throttle response and exhaust tone.

Manufactured from 409-series stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance, the 2831SY delivers better flow characteristics than many stock systems. It installs in place of the factory intermediate pipe (or pairs with aftermarket headers) and retains hanger locations for a clean fit. Installation is reasonably straightforward for experienced installers, but professional installation is recommended for best results and bracket alignment.
