Product Description

The JBA 1949S-2 Shorty Headers are performance exhaust headers engineered for 2004-2007 Dodge Dakota and Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with the 4.7L V8 PowerTech engine. These Cat4ward® stainless steel headers replace restrictive cast iron factory manifolds with mandrel-bent 1.5" primary tubes and JBA Firecone® merge collectors to improve exhaust flow, increase low-to-mid RPM horsepower and torque, and maintain emissions compliance.

Constructed from durable 409 stainless steel with thick machined flanges and supplied with all necessary mounting hardware and gaskets, the 1949S-2 headers provide a direct-fit installation for most stock applications. Ideal for daily drivers, towing rigs, or mild performance upgrades, these headers deliver a noticeable improvement over stock manifolds without the complexity of long-tube headers.
