Product Description

The Injen IS Series Short Ram Cold Air Intake is a direct-fit intake upgrade for the 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0L L4, engineered to add real, dyno-proven power without requiring any tuning. The mandrel-bent T6-6061 aluminum tubing eliminates the airflow restrictions built into the factory intake tract, while Injen's engineering keeps air/fuel ratios safe throughout the powerband, so the gains come without compromising drivability.

At the core of the system is Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, which trades the paper element and restrictive housing of the factory airbox for a fully serviceable, high-surface-area filter that flows significantly more air. The shorter intake path also changes the intake note under load, giving the car a more aggressive, throaty tone at full throttle that's absent with the stock airbox.

This kit is finished in Injen's black powder coat and is backed by Injen's limited lifetime warranty on the intake pipe and filter. It's built specifically for the coupe and doesn't fit Eclipse Spyder models, and CARB legality applies only through the 1995-1998 model years -- the 1999 Eclipse isn't covered by the EO number even though the intake fits it mechanically. It's a fit for Eclipse 2.0L owners who want a bolt-on power and sound upgrade with no tune required.
