Fitment Notes

• Compatible with both the Corolla Sedan (E210) and Corolla Hatchback (E210) equipped with the 2.0L naturally aspirated M20A-FKS Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine. Does not fit the Corolla with the 1.8L 2ZR-FAE or 2ZR-FXE hybrid engine variants.
• Does not fit the Corolla Cross, Corolla GR, or GR Corolla - those models use different engines and intake configurations.
• No tune required. The SP2081BLK is engineered using Injen's patented MR Technology to maintain safe air/fuel ratios throughout the powerband within the stock ECU calibration, with no check engine lights.
• Not currently CARB exempt. Not legal for sale or use on vehicles registered in California or other CARB-compliant states.

The Injen SP2081BLK is an SP Series flagship aluminum short ram intake system engineered specifically for the 2019-2025 Toyota Corolla - both Sedan and Hatchback - equipped with the 2.0L naturally aspirated M20A-FKS Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine. It delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 10 horsepower and 8 lb-ft of torque with no tune required and no check engine lights. The SP2081BLK is the laser black wrinkle powdercoat version; the polished mirror-finish SP2081P is also available. Note that this intake is not currently CARB exempt and is not legal for use on vehicles registered in California or other CARB-compliant states.

The M20A-FKS Dynamic Force engine in the 12th-generation Corolla features Toyota's high-compression Atkinson/Otto cycle combustion system with a high 13.0:1 compression ratio - an engine architecture that is inherently sensitive to intake airflow volume and temperature. The SP2081BLK addresses both variables: the 6061-T6 aluminum tube provides a larger, smoother airflow path than the factory plastic ducting, and the included application-specific heat shield isolates the filter from underhood radiated heat from the engine and exhaust systems. Injen's patented MR (MegaRam) Technology - individually tuned for the M20A-FKS's specific airflow characteristics - controls the air velocity and volume at the points where this engine most benefits from improved intake flow, while the Air Fusion patents maintain safe A/F ratios without requiring an aftermarket ECU tune.

Both the Sedan and Hatchback body styles are supported - the SP2081BLK's fitment covers the same M20A-FKS engine across both E210 platform variants. The SuperNano-Web Dry filter is cleanable with compressed air and never requires re-oiling.
