Product Description

The Injen EVO9004C is an Evolution Series cold air intake system with an 8-layer oiled cotton gauze filter, engineered specifically for the 2017-2019 Ford Super Duty lineup with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine. Injen's engineers designed a custom battery relocation box that moves the airbox safely to the front of the engine bay, aligning it directly with the factory air inlet and smoothing out the intake path with far fewer bends for reduced restriction and increased power.

The one-piece sealed housing is roto-molded from XLPE crosslinked polyethylene, a material with 20 times the environmental stress crack resistance, 10 times the molecular weight, and 5 times the impact and tensile strength of the cheaper HDPE housings some competitors use. The Injen Twist-Lock System securely attaches the 8-layer oiled cotton gauze filter in place, eliminating unnecessary parts for one of the simplest installations available, and delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 20 HP and 41 lb-ft of torque.

This intake is intended for Super Duty diesel owners looking to maximize airflow and power with a genuine, tested performance intake system rather than a basic drop-in filter. Installation is designed to work with the stock engine calibration, requiring no tune; the filter is fully serviceable and cleanable, and a replacement filter is available separately as part number X-1113-BB.
