Fitment Notes

• Compatible with the third-generation Focus ST (MK3) equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine for model years 2015 through 2018 - the final four years of US MK3 Focus ST production.
• Does not fit the 2013-2014 Focus ST - that application uses a different intake configuration (see Injen SP9001P or SP9001BLK). Does not fit the Focus RS, Focus SE/SEL/Titanium, or any naturally aspirated Focus variants.
• No tune required. The SP9002P is engineered using Injen's patented MR Technology to maintain safe air/fuel ratios throughout the powerband within the stock ECU calibration, with no check engine lights.
• Not currently CARB exempt. Not legal for sale or use on vehicles registered in California or other CARB-compliant states.
• Available in three finishes: Polished (SP9002P), Wrinkle Black (SP9002BLK), and Wrinkle Red (SP9002WR) - all share identical fitment, performance, and component specifications.
• The SP9002P ships with the SuperNano-Web Dry filter (X-1021-BB) as standard. An oiled cotton gauze replacement filter (X-1021-BR) is also available for owners who prefer an oiled filter element.
• Optional Hydroshield (black): Part #1037BLK - fits filter X-1021. Optional Hydroshield (red): Part #1037RED - recommended for wet or dusty driving conditions.

Product Description

The Injen SP9002P is an SP Series flagship aluminum short ram intake system engineered specifically for the 2015-2018 Ford Focus ST equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 16 horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque with no tune required and no check engine lights. The SP9002P is the polished mirror-finish version; wrinkle black (SP9002BLK) and wrinkle red (SP9002WR) finishes are also available. Note that this intake is not currently CARB exempt. The SP9002P is specifically for the 2015-2018 Focus ST - owners of the 2013-2014 Focus ST should see the Injen SP9001P or SP9001BLK instead.

The factory Focus ST intake is one of the more restrictive on the market - a sealed airbox with limited breathing volume designed primarily for noise management. The SP9002P replaces this with a 2-piece 6061-T6 aluminum tube and an application-specific heat shield with full cover, providing a significantly larger, smoother airflow path for the 2.0L EcoBoost's turbocharger inlet. Injen's patented MR (MegaRam) Technology in the tube's stepped internal geometry is individually tuned for the 2.0L EcoBoost's airflow and boost characteristics, maximizing power output at wide-open throttle while maintaining safe A/F ratios within the stock ECU calibration. The result is +16 HP / +16 lb-ft without any tune or ECU modification. The heat shield's cover design fully encloses the filter from underhood heat - an important feature given the EcoBoost's turbocharger proximity to the intake tract.

The SP9002P ships with the SuperNano-Web Dry filter (X-1021-BB) as standard, but also accepts the X-1021-BR oiled cotton gauze filter for owners who prefer that media. Both are reusable and cleanable indefinitely. The SP9002P pairs with Injen's SES9001TT cat-back exhaust and SES9002ICP intercooler pipes for a complete Injen performance system on the 2015-2018 Focus ST.
