Product Description

The Injen SP1898P is a direct-fit short ram intake and full intercooler piping system engineered specifically for the 2003-2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII and IX. The cast aluminum intake tube pairs with vehicle-specific polished intercooler charge pipes to eliminate flow restrictions from the turbocharger through the intercooler and into the throttle body. Injen's MegaRam (MR) Technology keeps the air/fuel ratio within safe parameters, delivering consistent power gains with no additional tuning required.

The system is compatible with both the factory front-mount intercooler and most aftermarket intercooler setups, making it a versatile upgrade for daily drivers and track builds alike. Installation requires only basic hand tools, and all necessary hardware, silicone couplers, and instructions are included. Optional Hydroshields (1034BLK or 1034RED) are available separately for added filter protection.
