The Injen SP1477BLK SP Series Cold Air Intake System delivers dyno-proven performance gains for 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type S models equipped with the K20A2 or K20Z1 2.0L VTEC engine. This flagship SP Series intake features Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology, which uses strategically engineered air-restricted sections to control pressurized mass air flow for optimized power gains while maintaining safe factory air/fuel ratios. The 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum intake tube provides a smooth, uninterrupted path for highly efficient airflow, while the SuperNano-Web dry air filter delivers superior filtration and increased surface area for maximum airflow. The cold air intake design routes the filter into the lower fender area where it draws cooler, denser air for improved performance and reduced heat soak. In-house dyno testing produced gains of up to 15 horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque with no ECU tuning required. The kit includes a custom windshield washer reservoir to relocate the factory unit, allowing proper intake routing.
