Fitment Notes

• Compatible with the 7th-generation Honda Civic DX, EX, and LX trims equipped with the 1.7L four-cylinder D-series engine. Does not fit the Civic Si (2.0L K20A3 - see Injen SP1578BLK) or the Civic HX (1.7L VTEC-E D17A6 - verify application separately).
• No tune required. The SP1567BLK is engineered using Injen's patented MR Technology to maintain safe air/fuel ratios throughout the powerband within the stock ECU calibration.
• CARB Exempt - CARB Executive Order D-476-5. Legal for use on vehicles registered in California and all other CARB-compliant states.
• This intake ships as a 2-piece cold air design that can also be easily converted to a short ram configuration by removing the lower section - providing flexibility for owners who prefer either setup.

The Injen SP1567BLK is an SP Series flagship aluminum cold air intake system engineered specifically for the 2001-2005 Honda Civic DX, EX, and LX equipped with the 1.7L four-cylinder engine. It delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 5 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque with no tune required and no check engine lights, and is fully CARB-legal under Executive Order D-476-5. The SP1567BLK is the laser black wrinkle powdercoat version; the polished mirror-finish SP1567P is also available.

A key design feature of the SP1567BLK is its 2-piece cold air tubing, which offers a level of versatility not found in most intakes. As shipped, the two sections combine to route the filter to a cold air position low in the engine bay - where ambient air temperatures are meaningfully lower than the factory airbox location near the top of the engine, providing a real density advantage for combustion.
