Product Description

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 56516 Rear Shock is a vehicle-specific, performance-oriented replacement designed for Toyota Tundra (2022-2025) and Toyota Sequoia (2023-2025) rear suspension systems. Built with a nitrogen-charged monotube internal reservoir and tuned valving, this 2.0 V.S. aluminum shock delivers superior damping performance and improved ride quality over many factory units. Its robust construction combines a hardened chrome-plated steel shaft with an anodized aluminum body and reservoir, giving excellent resistance to corrosion and heat buildup during repeated use.

This shock is engineered to support lifted rear suspension setups, with lift compatibility varying by model and configuration - from approximately 0-1.5" on non-TRD Tundra coil spring variants up to roughly 3.5" on Tundras with air suspension, and up to 4" on select Sequoia trims. Its fully rebuildable and revalveable nature allows for serviceability and tuning as suspension needs evolve. Sold individually, replacing both rear shocks simultaneously is recommended for balanced suspension performance.
