• Advertised lift height ranges based on a stock-equipped vehicle - added accessories and rear weight will reduce actual lift height
• For maximum performance, ICON recommends pairing with ICON 2.5 Series front coilovers for balanced front-to-rear damping tune
• For electronically adjustable compression damping, upgrade to ICON part number 57872CP (CDEV version)
• Shocks are fully serviceable - rebuild parts available from ICON Vehicle Dynamics
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation

Product Description

The ICON 57872P is a vehicle-specific V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shock pair engineered for the 2025-2026 Toyota 4Runner (non-AVS). Representing a significant performance step above the OE shocks and ICON's own 2.0 Series units, the 57872P features a larger 2.5" shock body with a remote reservoir for dramatically increased oil volume and heat dissipation - eliminating damper fade during sustained off-road use. ICON's integrated internal Bump Zone adds 20% more damping force as the shock nears full compression, protecting against harsh bottom-outs on high-speed hits or aggressive terrain. The vehicle-specific valving is custom-tuned to complement ICON's 2.5 Series front coilovers for a balanced, controlled ride front to rear.

The 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft and hard anodized impact-extruded aluminum body provide long-term durability in demanding conditions, while PTFE-lined spherical bearings ensure precise, bind-free movement throughout the suspension range. Installation is 100% bolt-on using factory mounting points - no drilling, cutting, or welding required. These shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term serviceability.
