Product Description

The ICON 56523 is a vehicle-specific V.S. 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shock absorber engineered for the 2025-2026 Toyota 4Runner. Designed as a cost-effective performance upgrade over the OE twin-tube shocks, this monotube internal reservoir unit delivers noticeably improved ride quality and suspension control both on and off road. ICON's engineers custom-tuned the valving specifically for the 6th Gen 4Runner's suspension geometry and weight characteristics, ensuring the shock performs optimally across the full 0-3" lift range when paired with ICON front coilovers and rear coil springs.

The 6063 anodized aluminum body provides superior heat dissipation and corrosion resistance, while the 5/8" chrome-plated hardened steel shaft resists the wear and corrosion that comes with trail use. Polyurethane bushings and forged steel mounting stems deliver OE-style fitment with a direct bolt-on installation - no cutting or welding required. These shocks are sold individually, so a quantity of 2 must be ordered per vehicle. They are 100% rebuildable using ICON's #202002 rebuild kit, and fully re-tunable for those who want custom valving in the future. ADAS recalibration is required after installation.
