Product Description

The ICON 51020 Top Plate Reinforcement Kit is engineered to address a known weakness in the 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma's OE suspension system. During rigorous off-road testing, failures were observed in the front upper shock mount and shock stem bushing under hard use. This reinforcement kit supports and strengthens the factory upper shock mount, providing an added layer of protection against such failures.

Crafted from CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating, the reinforcement plates offer both durability and corrosion resistance. The design allows for a quick and straightforward installation process--simply remove the three coilover top mount nuts, install the reinforcement plate, and re-torque the nuts. No need to jack up the vehicle or remove the tires.

ICON recommends this upgrade for any 2024-2025 Tacoma that is driven vigorously off-road using the OE front coilover shocks. Please note that this kit is not compatible with TRD Pro or Trailhunter models.
