Product Description

The ICON 71670 is a pair of V.S. 2.5 Series front coilover shocks with remote reservoirs engineered for the 2023-2024 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss and ZR2 and the 2023-2024 GMC Canyon AT4, AT4X, Denali, and Elevation - the "Ultra-Wide Stance" platform variants. The step up from the internal reservoir 71615, the 71670 adds a remote reservoir that increases shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area, pushing total front wheel travel to 10.25 inches - a 20% increase over stock. This significantly expanded travel range allows faster, harder off-road use without the damper fade that limits standard shocks under sustained abuse.

Unlike the 71615 (IR version), the 71670 requires ICON Delta Joint Pro upper control arms for installation - the extended travel length exceeds what OEM UCAs can accommodate, making the UCAs a mandatory companion purchase for a complete system. Height remains adjustable from 1.75 to 2.5 inches over stock on Trail Boss and AT4-family trims, and 0.75 to 1.5 inches on Colorado ZR2 and Canyon AT4X. Springs are rated for gasoline engines only. For manual compression damping adjustability, consider the 71670C (CDCV) version. Does not fit Colorado WT, LT, or Z71 - those use Part #71616. 100% rebuildable and revalveable.
