Fitment Notes

• Does not fit the 2024+ Lexus GX550, which is a new platform requiring a dedicated kit.
• GX460 models equipped with factory rear air ride suspension require ICON Rear Coil Conversion Kit Part #56110, sold separately, before this system can be installed.
• Compatible with KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) equipped vehicles. Front sway bar relocation brackets included in the coilover kit are not used on KDSS-equipped vehicles. The included ICON adjustable rear track bar (Part #54200) ensures KDSS compatibility and corrects rear axle alignment after lift.
• Extended travel front coilovers must be used with the included ICON billet aluminum upper control arms. Do not install extended travel coilovers with factory UCAs - the extended travel design requires the geometry provided by the ICON UCAs to function properly and safely.
• Certain model years require trimming for proper front remote reservoir bracket fitment.
• Remote reservoir mounting brackets may interfere with aftermarket bumper mounts or windshield washer bottles - verify clearance before and after installation.
• Front coilovers are height adjustable from 0-3.5" over stock. Coilover heights are indicated for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Rear coil springs provide approximately 2" of rear lift height for a leveled front-to-rear stance.
• A 700 lb/in Expedition Coil option is available separately for heavier-equipped vehicles running winches, steel bumpers, or other heavy accessories.
• Rear shock shaft protection is strongly recommended. ICON Part #56100 Shock Shin Guards are available separately due to the vulnerable rear shock shaft position on this platform.
• All shocks are fully serviceable. Ships in multiple boxes.
• OEM wheels and tires are compatible with this system.

Product Description

The ICON K53182 is the Stage 2 complete suspension system for the 2010-2023 Lexus GX460, featuring billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms. It builds directly on the Stage 1 system (K53181) with two critical upgrades: the front coilovers are replaced with Extended Travel units (Part #58647), and ICON billet aluminum UCAs with Delta Joints (Part #58551DJ) are added to the package. These two changes work together - the extended travel coilover design requires the ICON UCAs to achieve its full droop travel potential, and the billet UCAs' on-vehicle adjuster sleeves allow for precise camber and caster correction without removing the arms from the vehicle.

The billet aluminum UCAs in the K53182 are constructed from CNC machined 6061 aluminum with a matte anodized finish, making them lighter than tubular steel arms while offering excellent resistance to bending forces. PTFE-lined rod ends provide smooth, low-maintenance pivot function, and the machined adjuster sleeves give the installer precise control over front alignment geometry at any lift height. The Delta Joint (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) at the center of each UCA replaces the factory ball joint with a sealed, greaseable, high-angle unit - combining the high articulation of a uniball with the sealed housing and corrosion resistance of a traditional ball joint, making it far more durable in daily-driven and off-road applications.

The rear system is carried over from the Stage 1 kit: ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir rear shocks (Part #56505), 2" rear coil springs (Part #52700), and the ICON adjustable rear track bar (Part #54200). The rear track bar is a GX460-specific inclusion that ensures KDSS compatibility and corrects the lateral axle position after the lift is installed - an important detail for GX460 owners not found in equivalent 4Runner kits. GX460 models equipped with factory rear air suspension require the ICON Rear Coil Conversion Kit (#56110, sold separately) before this system can be installed.
