Fitment Notes

• Does not fit the 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra. The 3rd-generation Tundra uses a completely redesigned platform requiring ICON's dedicated new-generation kits.
• Front coilover is height adjustable from 1-3" over stock. Coilover heights are indicated for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Rear Expansion Pack provides approximately 1.5" of rear lift height. Actual lift height may have slight variance based on year and configuration.
• Factory upper control arms will not align properly above 2.5" of front lift. An aftermarket UCA is strongly recommended for lifts above 2.5" to maintain proper caster and camber geometry.
• Trimming is required to properly fit the recommended 35" x 12.50" tire size.
• No change to towing capacity with this system installed.
• A Bump Stop Spacer Kit is available separately if additional coilover threads are needed beyond the maximum recommendation.
• All shocks are fully serviceable. Ships in multiple boxes.

Product Description

The ICON K53022 is the Stage 2 complete suspension system for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra, and the critical upgrade it adds over the Stage 1 (K53021) is the inclusion of the ICON 51200 Rear Leaf Spring Expansion Pack. While both systems share the same front coilovers and rear shocks, the Stage 2 addresses a limitation inherent to the factory Tundra rear suspension: the OEM leaf spring pack uses a secondary leaf arrangement that makes the ride stiff and bouncy, especially when the truck is unloaded. The ICON Expansion Pack solves this by replacing all the factory secondary leaves - retaining only the main and overload springs - and substituting a purpose-built progressive rate spring pack that softens the overall spring rate, adds approximately 1.5" of rear lift, and significantly improves rear ride comfort both on and off-road.

The front half of the system is anchored by the ICON 2.5 Series internal reservoir coilovers (Part #58650), which are vehicle-specifically tuned for the Tundra's weight and chassis dynamics. Adjustable from 1-3" of front lift, they replace the factory strut with a precision coilover that delivers improved body motion control, reduced body roll, and a noticeably smoother ride over a wide range of terrain. The 6061 aluminum construction, FK Rod End bearings, and CAD-plated body ensure durability and long-term serviceability. Above 2.5" of front lift, ICON recommends upgrading to aftermarket upper control arms - the factory UCAs begin to reach their alignment adjustment limits and can cause improper caster geometry and uneven tire wear.

Completing the system are ICON's 2.0 VS Aluminum Series rear shocks (Part #56506), tuned specifically for the Tundra to match and balance the front coilover damping for a cohesive, controlled ride from front to rear. Together, the three components of the K53022 deliver a genuine front-to-rear suspension transformation - improved wheel travel, better ride quality in all conditions, a leveled stance with approximately 1.5" of rear lift, and full compatibility with 35" tires with minor trimming. The entire system is 100% bolt-on with no cutting or welding required, works on both 2WD and 4WD Tundras, and maintains the factory towing capacity.
