Product Description

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 56515R 2.0 VS Remote Rear Shock is a high-performance suspension upgrade crafted specifically for 2005 through 2023 Toyota Tacoma trucks equipped with a 1.5-3" rear lift. Built with a nitrogen-charged monotube design and external reservoir, this shock improves heat dissipation and damping consistency for a wide range of on- and off-road driving conditions compared to many factory-style units. With vehicle specific valving tuned for Tacoma suspension dynamics, it delivers enhanced ride quality and control on rough terrain and paved roads alike.

The anodized aluminum body and reservoir resist corrosion, while the 5/8" chrome-plated hardened steel shaft and premium bushings ensure durability and long-term serviceability. This shock absorber is also fully rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for future maintenance or tuning as suspension needs evolve. A bumpstop height increase of at least 0.75" is recommended to avoid potential contact issues under extended travel. Note: This shock is designed for 4WD Tacomas with lifted rear suspension and may not fit 2005-2015 5-lug 2WD models.
