Fitment Notes

• PASSENGER SIDE ONLY - this shock mounts on the passenger (right) front only; ICON part number 76551RD (driver side) is required to complete the front pair
• Sold individually - one unit; must be ordered alongside 76551RD for a complete front installation
• Extended travel length REQUIRES aftermarket front upper control arms - OEM UCAs will NOT work with this shock
• Most submodels compatible with 0-3.5" of front lift over stock

Product Description

The ICON 76551RP is the passenger-side (right front) V.S. 2.0 HD Series remote reservoir shock absorber for the 2011-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD. Due to the remote reservoir's orientation on the shock body, ICON engineers the driver (76551RD) and passenger (76551RP) front shocks as separate, side-specific units - they cannot be swapped between sides. The 76551RP must be paired with the 76551RD to complete a full front installation. Both shocks share the same 2.0 HD platform features: hard-anodized 6061 aluminum cylinders with increased wall thickness and taller DU bearings for superior pull-apart and side load strength over the standard 2.0 Aluminum Series, plus a remote reservoir for increased oil volume and heat dissipation during sustained hard use.

The extended travel length requires aftermarket upper control arms - OEM UCAs are incompatible. Vehicle-specific valving is tuned by ICON engineers for the GM HD platform's significant spring rates and weight characteristics. ZR2 and AT4X submodels are limited to a 0-2" front lift range due to factory geometry constraints. All shocks are 100% rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term serviceability.
