Fitment Notes

Product Description

The ICON 71707CP is a vehicle-specific V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series front remote reservoir shock pair with CDCV, engineered for the 2011-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD. Unlike ICON's standard-travel front shocks, the 71707CP uses an extended-travel length that unlocks maximum front wheel travel - but this requires aftermarket upper control arms to function properly. OEM UCAs will not work with this shock, and ICON's Delta Joint Pro HD UCAs are strongly recommended. The CDCV adds 10-position externally adjustable compression damping, letting you dial in the ride from soft to hard with a clearly engraved knob at the reservoir across a full 0-3.5" front lift range on most submodels.

The 2.5" aluminum shock body with internal Bump Zone and remote reservoir delivers superior heat dissipation and fade resistance compared to stock, with 20% additional damping as the shock nears full compression to prevent harsh bottom-outs. ZR2 and AT4X submodels are limited to a 0-2" front lift range due to factory suspension geometry constraints. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. For dual-speed compression damping (independent high-speed and low-speed adjustment), upgrade to the ICON 71707XP (CDXS). All shocks are 100% rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term serviceability.
