• Shocks are sold individually - a quantity of 2 is required per vehicle
• Extended travel length REQUIRES aftermarket front upper control arms - OEM UCAs will NOT work with this shock

The ICON 76551 is a vehicle-specific V.S. 2.0 HD Series front internal reservoir shock absorber engineered for the 2011-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD. The 2.0 HD Series represents a step up from ICON's standard 2.0 Aluminum Series with hard-anodized 6061 aluminum cylinders featuring increased wall thickness and taller DU bearings - delivering meaningfully improved pull-apart and side load strength for demanding heavy-duty applications. The extended travel length unlocks maximum front wheel travel when paired with compatible aftermarket upper control arms, making this shock an effective performance upgrade for GM HD owners who need more from their front suspension without stepping up to the 2.5 Aluminum Series price point.

The press-in bonded rubber bushing/bar pin upper assembly and forged aluminum lower clevis provide OE-style factory fitment with road vibration isolation built in. Vehicle-specific valving is tuned by ICON engineers specifically for the GM HD platform's significant spring rates and weight characteristics, delivering improved on- and off-road ride quality over stock. These shocks are sold individually - two are required per vehicle. Note that aftermarket front upper control arms are mandatory, as OEM UCAs are incompatible with the extended travel length. ZR2 and AT4X submodels are limited to a 0-2" front lift range. All shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term serviceability.
