The ICON V.S. 2.0 HD Rear Shock with Remote Reservoir (part 76552RD) gives your Silverado or Sierra HD dramatically better damping performance, stability, and comfort in both loaded and unloaded conditions. Factory rear shocks tend to fade quickly under heat and struggle to control the weight and leverage of heavy-duty trucks, especially when towing or driving on rough terrain - this shock upgrades that weak point with far better control and consistency.

Built around ICON's 2.0 HD aluminum-bodied shock platform, this unit uses a monotube design with an external remote reservoir to increase oil capacity and reduce heat buildup during extended use, preventing shock fade under heavy loads, repeated impacts, and long-distance driving. Hard anodized 6061 aluminum cylinders with increased wall thickness and taller DU bearings deliver significantly improved pull-apart and side-load strength compared to ICON's standard 2.0 Aluminum Series.

This is the driver-side rear shock, tuned for 0-1.5" of lift - the passenger-side shock (part 76552RP) is required separately to complete the pair. Like all ICON shocks, it's 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
