Fitment Notes

• Does not fit the 2024+ Lexus GX550, which is a new platform requiring a dedicated kit.
• GX460 models equipped with factory rear air ride suspension require ICON Rear Coil Conversion Kit Part #56110, sold separately, before this system can be installed.
• Compatible with KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) equipped vehicles. Front sway bar relocation brackets included in the coilover kit are not used on KDSS-equipped vehicles. The ICON adjustable rear track bar (Part #54200) is included in this kit and provides KDSS compatibility and rear alignment correction.
• Certain model years require trimming for proper front remote reservoir bracket fitment.
• Remote reservoir mounting brackets may interfere with aftermarket bumper mounts or windshield washer bottles - verify clearance before and after installation.
• Front coilovers are height adjustable from 0-3.5" over stock. Coilover heights are indicated for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Rear coil springs provide approximately 2" of rear lift height for a leveled front-to-rear stance.
• A 700 lb/in Expedition Coil option is available separately for heavier-equipped vehicles running winches, steel bumpers, or other heavy accessories.

This addition is specific to the GX460's design, where the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) - an active sway bar system unique to Lexus and select Toyota platforms - requires a compatible adjustable track bar to maintain proper rear axle alignment and KDSS function after a lift is installed. The K53181 is fully compatible with KDSS-equipped GX460s out of the box.

The front of the system is built on ICON's 2.5 Series internal reservoir coilovers (Part #58646), which are vehicle-specifically tuned for the GX460's weight and chassis dynamics. Adjustable from 0-3.5" of front lift, they provide dramatically improved body motion control, reduced body roll, and a noticeably smoother ride in all conditions compared to the factory struts. The rear system pairs ICON's 2" rear coil springs (Part #52700) with 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir rear shocks (Part #56505) - both tuned specifically for the GX460 - delivering a balanced front-to-rear suspension upgrade that levels the stance and improves rear ride quality simultaneously. Together, the front and rear components create a cohesive, matched damping system that addresses the factory GX460's tendency toward excessive body roll and modest off-road capability.

An important consideration for GX460 owners is the factory rear air ride suspension option. GX460 models equipped from the factory with rear air suspension cannot use this kit without first installing ICON's Rear Coil Conversion Kit (Part #56110), sold separately, which converts the air suspension to a conventional coil spring setup. Additionally, ICON recommends rear shock shaft protection (#56100 shin guards) for the rear shocks due to their exposed shaft position on the GX460 platform.
