The ICON 97720XP delivers ICON's top-tier rear shock technology to the 2004-2008 Ford F-150 4WD and 2009-2024 F-150 2WD/4WD. Built around a 2.5" aluminum body with a piggyback reservoir, these vehicle-specific shocks replace the factory rear dampers with a fully tunable, race-derived unit that transforms the truck's on-road manners and off-road capability. Increased oil capacity, precision valving, and a 7/8" chrome-plated shaft deliver consistent damping even under sustained hard use.

What sets the 97720XP apart is ICON's exclusive CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) valving, which gives drivers independent control of high-speed and low-speed compression through 10 detented settings on each knob - allowing precise tuning for everything from highway comfort to hauling loads to high-speed desert runs. ICON's Bump Zone billet manifold adds a 20% boost in damping force during the last portion of compression travel, preventing harsh bottom-outs.
