Fitment Notes

• Compatible with KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) equipped vehicles. The adjustable rear track bar (ICON #54200) is included in this kit to ensure proper KDSS compatibility.
• Front sway bar relocation brackets included in the kit are NOT used on KDSS-equipped vehicles.
• Certain model years may require trimming of the front reservoir bracket for proper fitment - verify during installation.
• GX460 models equipped with factory rear air ride suspension require the ICON Rear Coil Conversion Kit (part #56110), sold separately and NOT included in this kit.
• Remote reservoir mounting brackets on the rear shocks may interfere with aftermarket bumper mounts and/or windshield washer bottles - verify clearance before installation.
• Lift heights indicated are based on a stock-equipped vehicle with no additional weight. Heavier-equipped vehicles may benefit from the optional 700 lb coil spring (sold separately).
• Larger tires may fit but may require fender trimming and additional modifications.
• Recommended aftermarket wheel fitment: 8"-8.5" wide with 4.75" backspace.
• This kit is specific to the 2010-2023 Lexus GX460 and does not fit the GX470 or the 2024+ GX.

Product Description

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics K53184 is the Stage 4 suspension system for the 2010-2023 Lexus GX460, delivering a complete front-to-rear suspension overhaul using ICON's premium billet aluminum components. The K53184 distinguishes itself from the tubular-UCA K53184T by featuring billet aluminum upper control arms (58551DJ) and billet aluminum lower trailing arms (54000) - providing on-vehicle adjustability, greater precision, and a higher-end finish. At the front, extended travel 2.5" internal reservoir coilovers (58647) provide 0-3.5" of adjustable lift, paired with the billet Delta Joint UCAs which unlock extended wheel travel and allow caster correction for proper front-end alignment geometry. The patented Delta Joint (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) combines a weatherproof, zinc-plated housing with high-articulation ball performance, delivering the durability of a factory ball joint alongside the articulation of a uniball.

The rear of the K53184 is equally thorough. ICON's 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks (57810P) feature vehicle-specific valving and ICON's proprietary "Bump Zone" technology, which dramatically increases damping resistance in the final 2 inches of travel to eliminate harsh bottom-out on rugged terrain. Paired with ICON's 2" rear lift springs (52700), the result is a balanced, fade-resistant rear damping system. The billet aluminum lower trailing arms (54000) are far stronger than OE units and allow on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment to restore correct drivetrain geometry at the new ride height. Unlike many competitor kits, the K53184 also includes ICON's adjustable rear track bar (54200), ensuring full KDSS compatibility and proper rear axle alignment for all GX460 owners - with or without the factory Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System.

GX460 owners should verify whether their vehicle is equipped with the optional factory rear air ride suspension prior to ordering. If equipped, the ICON Rear Coil Conversion Kit (part #56110) is required and must be purchased separately - it is not included in the K53184. The system is confirmed compatible with KDSS; on KDSS-equipped vehicles, the front sway bar relocation brackets included in the kit are not used, and the included track bar handles rear alignment correction. The K53184 fits all 2010-2023 GX460 trim levels - Base, Premium, Luxury, and Black Line Special Edition - and is not compatible with the GX470 or the redesigned 2024+ GX platform.
