Product Description

The Hotchkis 22827 is a complete front and rear sport sway bar set engineered exclusively for the 2003-2004 Audi RS6. Despite the RS6's impressive factory chassis tune - with aggressive spring rates, firm shock valving, and a stout 20mm solid rear bar from the factory - Hotchkis found that the car's weight still overrode that rear bar during spirited driving, producing more body roll at mid-corner than the RS6's supercar ambitions warranted.

This kit addresses that with a 35mm tubular front bar (+50% stiffer than stock) and a 24mm tubular 2-position adjustable rear bar (+49% or +67% stiffer than stock), both in hollow construction for reduced weight. The rear bar's two-position adjustment allows the driver to dial in more or less rear roll stiffness to tune the handling balance - softer for street driving, stiffer for track work. Critically, this kit is RS6-specific: the rear end of the RS6 differs from the standard A6, and the Hotchkis bars are designed to clear that unique RS6 componentry and bolt in without any cutting, welding, or modification.
