Product Description

The HKS 71002-AH004 Suction Return Kit is a vehicle-specific recirculation accessory designed for the FL5 Honda Civic Type R equipped with the K20C 2.0L turbocharged engine. Used together with the HKS SUPER SQV4 kit, it routes discharged air back into the intake system in a manner similar to the factory air bypass valve.

The suction-return configuration reduces the sharp discharge sound produced when the SUPER SQV4 vents to atmosphere while making intake-side airflow sounds more noticeable. The kit provides the necessary return plumbing and hardware for the intended FL5 application.

The 71002-AH004 is an accessory kit rather than a complete blow-off valve and does not include the SUPER SQV4 itself. HKS specifies an average installation time of approximately one hour. When retrofitting the return kit after prior atmospheric operation, a separate gasket is required.
