The HKS 71008-KH012B SUPER SQV4 Black Edition is a vehicle-specific blow-off valve kit engineered exclusively for the FL5-generation Honda Civic Type R. Designed around the K20C 2.0L turbocharged engine, the system rapidly relieves excess boost pressure when the throttle is closed, helping reduce the load placed on the turbocharger during throttle-off operation.

The SUPER SQV4 uses a relief-less design intended to provide stable boost-pressure control across its operating range. Its Black Edition finish adds a performance-oriented appearance to the FL5 engine bay, while the valve produces the characteristic high-frequency HKS sound when configured for atmospheric discharge.

This application is specifically for the FL5 Civic Type R and should not be substituted for the separate HKS kit intended for the FK8 generation.
