Features

The HKS 70019-AK105 is the Super Power Flow (SPF) Reloaded complete filter assembly in the 200-80 configuration - 200mm outer diameter, 80mm inlet, dry green 3-layer polyurethane - for use with any intake application using 80mm piping. As a complete assembly rather than a filter element alone, it includes the HKS-patented inner Super Funnel housing, the triple-density dry polyurethane filter element, and an aluminum backplate for structural integrity. The Super Funnel is the defining engineering element of the SPF line: by geometrically guiding incoming air into the filter face, it reduces inlet turbulence and promotes more laminar, consistent airflow compared to a bare pod filter - a meaningful improvement on performance intake systems and custom turbo builds where the quality of air delivery directly affects throttle response and volumetric efficiency.

The Reloaded filter element is constructed from three layers of polyurethane foam at different densities - coarser on the outside for high initial airflow capacity, progressively finer toward the interior for effective particle filtration. Being a dry-type filter, no oil is needed for operation, and the element is unaffected by moisture or fuel contact. This simplifies maintenance compared to oiled pod filters (which require periodic re-oiling and carry the risk of MAF sensor contamination if over-oiled) and ensures the filter performs consistently regardless of weather conditions. The element can be cleaned with water, dried completely, and reinstalled repeatedly. The Reloaded generation's Stealth frame design delivers a 27% efficiency improvement over the previous SPF assembly frame.
