The HKS 22004-AZ001 is a newly developed slide cam pulley designed specifically for the B6-ZE and BP-ZE engines used in the Mazda MX-5 Miata NA and NB generations. Built from ultra-lightweight A2014 Duralumin, the pulley weighs just 0.327 kg - approximately 7% less than the previous HKS version - reducing rotational inertia for a more responsive throttle feel throughout the rev range. The nickel-plated gear surface improves hardness and durability, ensuring reliable performance even under sustained sport and circuit driving conditions.

The wide ±20° adjustment range gives tuners the flexibility to dial in cam timing across a broad range of engine specifications, from lightly modified street builds to dedicated track setups. Each graduation mark represents 2° of crankshaft movement, and the clearly engraved "A" and "R" markings on the adjustment screws make it easy to confirm the direction of adjustment without errors. The pulley fits both the intake and exhaust positions and installs directly without modification. For a full adjustable cam timing setup, two pulleys are required - one per camshaft.
