Product Description

The HKS 22004-AH001 is a renewed slide cam pulley engineered for B16A and B18C Honda engines, offering a lighter and stronger alternative to the OEM camshaft pulley. Machined from A2017 Duralumin, the pulley weighs just 0.283 kg - approximately 11% less than the previous HKS version - reducing rotational inertia and allowing the engine to respond more freely through the rev range. The gear section is nickel-plated for improved hardness and resistance to wear, making this pulley suitable for both circuit sport use and street builds where longevity is a priority.

The slide adjustment mechanism provides a -10° to +10° range of camshaft timing adjustment, with each graduation mark representing 2° of crankshaft movement. Clear "A" (Advance) and "R" (Retard) markings are engraved on the face of the pulley to eliminate guesswork during setup. The pulley fits both the intake and exhaust positions and installs directly without modification. For a complete adjustable cam timing setup on a B-series engine, two pulleys are required - one for each camshaft.
