Fitment Notes

• For Solid Cam RB26DETT engines only - does NOT fit V-CAM equipped vehicles (use HKS 45999-AN002 for V-CAM)
• Requires an aftermarket ECU capable of supporting a 36-2T trigger pattern (compatible with Haltech Nexus/Elite, Link, Motec, and HKS F-CON)
• HKS recommends simultaneous replacement of ignition coils with HKS Super Fire Racing Coil Pro (43005-AN001 / 43005-AN002 / 43005-AN003) for maximum signal accuracy
• HKS recommends replacing the front oil seal, cam seals, and timing belt during this conversion
• HKS VPro Harness + Pin Terminal Set (4299-RA009) is recommended for harness integration

This makes the OEM signal susceptible to fluctuation caused by timing belt stretch and high-RPM wobble, leading to unstable ignition timing and untapped power potential. By installing a 36-2T crank trigger wheel and dedicated cam angle sensor, this kit provides a direct, high-resolution crank position signal that remains accurate under all RPM conditions.

The result is a rock-solid ignition reference that allows precise fuel and ignition map calibration through a compatible aftermarket ECU, with HKS projecting a 5-7% power increase on properly retuned engines.
