The HKS 80330-AT001P Hipermax S is a complete front and rear coilover kit purpose-built for the Toyota 86, Scion FR-S, and Subaru BRZ on the ZN6/ZC6 FA20 platform. The "P" designation identifies this as the front pillow ball upper mount variant, delivering sharper steering feedback and more accurate suspension geometry over the standard rubber bush configuration. Featuring HKS's Flat Ride Concept (FRC) tuning and Dual Preload Valve System (Dual PVS), the Hipermax S is engineered to suppress the initial harshness common in stiffer coilover setups without sacrificing the handling precision the ZN6/ZC6 platform is known for. Both front and rear offer 30 steps of damping force adjustment via HKS's Wide Range (WR) needle, making this kit equally at home on daily street commutes, mountain roads, and track days.

The front features an inverted damper layout to reduce unsprung weight, while a rear helper spring at 19.8 N/mm improves packing behavior and prevents spring float at full droop.
