The HKS 80330-AN019 Hipermax S is a complete front and rear coilover kit developed specifically for the 1989-2000 Nissan 300ZX / Fairlady Z (Z32) in both Twin Turbo (VG30DETT) and naturally aspirated (VG30DE) configurations. This kit represents a significant update over earlier HKS height-adjustable offerings for the Z32, introducing a full-length adjustable coilover architecture that allows for ride height reduction without spring preload - delivering both a comfortable, lowered stance and genuine handling improvements. HKS developed this kit using precise measurements taken directly from the Z32 platform, with development testing conducted on a Twin Turbo 2+2 model. The Flat Ride Concept (FRC) and Dual Preload Valve System (Dual PVS) tuning suppress the low-speed harshness common in aftermarket coilovers while retaining the responsiveness needed for canyon and track driving.

The 30-step Wide Range (WR) Needle damping adjustment allows fine-tuning from a single dial without requiring disassembly.
