The HKS 80330-AF010CP Hipermax S is a complete front and rear coilover kit with error canceller specifically developed for the 2021-and-later Subaru WRX S4 (VBH) equipped with the FA24 2.4L turbocharged flat-four. This is the pillow ball camber-adjustable front upper mount variant, adding front camber tuning capability to an already capable kit. The stock WRX S4's electronically controlled DDS suspension delivers inconsistent feel - softness and instability in comfort mode, harshness over small bumps in sport mode - and this kit addresses both shortcomings with HKS's large-diameter single-tube monotube dampers, Flat Ride Concept (FRC) tuning, and Dual Preload Valve System (Dual PVS). The result is a suspension that absorbs minor road texture smoothly while generating firm, progressive damping through corners and over surface changes, making the VBH genuinely more composed than the stock setup in all driving conditions.

The included OEM DDS error canceller is essential for CVT-equipped VBH models - without it, removing the factory electronic damping system triggers dashboard fault codes.
