Product Description

The HKS Hipermax S Coilovers (80330-AN002P) are the pillow ball front variant built specifically for the Nissan Silvia S14 and S15. The front spherical bearing upper mount is the defining feature of the "P" version - it unlocks camber angle adjustment at the top mount and delivers sharper, more responsive steering feel compared to the rubber mount version. This makes the kit especially well-suited for drivers who run aggressive alignment settings for street-sport or drift use, while still maintaining the daily-driver comfort that the Hipermax S series is designed around.

The kit ships with a factory-default drop of approximately 47mm front and 45mm rear, already set to HKS's tested recommended position. The 30-step damping adjustment dials allow fine-tuning across the full range from comfortable street cruising to track-focused firmness, and the rear helper spring aids spring control at lower ride heights. The inverted front monotube keeps unsprung weight low for a planted, responsive chassis - a key advantage on the S14/S15's rear-wheel-drive platform. Note that the front pillow ball bearing is a serviceable wear item and can be replaced separately without needing to rebuild the entire damper.
