The HKS Hipermax S Coilovers (80330-AN002) are purpose-built for the Nissan Silvia S14 and S15, covering both the naturally aspirated SR20DE and turbocharged SR20DET engine variants under a single SKU. The front pillow ball upper mount delivers direct, zero-deflection steering feedback - a meaningful advantage on the S-chassis given its inherently communicative RWD dynamics. The kit ships with a notable factory default drop of 47mm front and 45mm rear, providing an aggressive street stance right out of the box while retaining the full adjustable range for further tuning.

The rear damper is adjustable via wire, allowing damping changes without access to the top of the shock body - particularly useful on the S15 where rear access is limited. The 30-step Dual PVS needle system keeps the damping feel smooth and progressive across all adjustment positions, suitable for both daily street driving and spirited canyon or circuit use.
