Fitment Notes

• Drop heights differ between the Soft Top (ND5RC) and RF (NDERC) - see Specifications section below for trim-specific vehicle height adjustments at shipment.
• ND5RC (Soft Top) - Front: -54mm avg (range: -1 to -85mm) / Rear: -49mm avg (range: -1 to -67mm). Based on 6-speed MT model. AT models may vary slightly.
• NDERC (RF) - Front: -43mm avg (range: 0 to -84mm) / Rear: -48mm avg (range: 0 to -66mm). MT only per HKS; AT fitment on RF not confirmed by HKS documentation.
• P5-VPR engine code = 1.5L JDM Roadster; P5-VP = 2.0L global/export MX-5. Both are ND5RC chassis and share the same coilover kit fitment.
• Spring rate changes from factory are not recommended per HKS (F and R spring specs are optimized for MX-5 platform balance and should not be substituted).
• Can only be shipped via UPS or FedEx - not eligible for standard freight or LTL shipping.

The HKS 80330-AZ003 HIPERMAX S is a full coilover kit purpose-built for the 4th-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata, covering the ND5RC/ND5RE Soft Top and NDERC RF platforms from 2016 through 2024. Built around HKS's FLAT RIDE CONCEPT, the kit is designed to eliminate the low-speed harshness typical of performance coilovers while keeping the MX-5 flat, planted, and responsive under hard cornering. The large-diameter monotube damper separates gas and oil for consistent damping performance under heat, paired with Dual PVS technology for independent control of low- and high-speed damping.
