Product Description

The HKS 80330-AF003 Hipermax S is a complete front and rear coilover kit purpose-built for the 2005-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (GDB E/F/G) equipped with the EJ20 2.0L turbocharged flat-four. Built on HKS's monotube damper platform with an inverted front strut design, Flat Ride Concept (FRC) tuning, and Dual Preload Valve System (Dual PVS), this kit is engineered to refine the GDB's already capable AWD handling while bringing genuine improvement in street ride quality. Front spring rates of 69 N/mm and rear rates of 49 N/mm are set to manage the GDB's AWD weight distribution during hard cornering and braking, with the inverted front damper design reducing unsprung weight and maximizing lateral rigidity through high-load transitions.

Ride height at shipment is -24 mm front and -29 mm rear from factory height, with front adjustment up to -54 mm and rear up to -65 mm within the full adjustable range. The 30-step WR Needle damping adjustment allows fine-tuning without disassembly, adapting to road conditions, tire choice, or driving style.
