The HKS Hipermax S Coilovers (80330-AH001) are purpose-built for the Honda S2000 AP1 and AP2, replacing HKS's long-running Max IV GT series with updated damping technology and improved durability. The kit ships pre-assembled with a mild factory drop and 30-step adjustment dials, making it easy to install and immediately drive without requiring corner balancing out of the box. The front and rear spring rate is set at a firm 98 N/mm (10 kgf/mm) - well matched to the S2000's lightweight chassis and rear-wheel-drive dynamics - providing strong body control without sacrificing street usability.

The Dual Preload Valve System keeps high-speed damping smooth and predictable, while the inverted front monotube design reduces unsprung weight for sharper turn-in response. The ride height range is generous, with up to 77mm of front drop and 53mm rear, giving drivers the flexibility to achieve a lowered street stance or a more aggressive track setup.
